I don’t entirely understand who Republicans are performing for. The ones who are most in the bag for Israel, no matter how genocidal Israel is, and are currently yelling about antisemitism on college campuses, do not care about antisemitism or students or Israel as a state or Jews. Many of them are either overtly or covertly antisemitic. Who is the audience?

@morgfair Fascinating, this proposal seems to have arisen under the mistaken assumption that the union is negotiating as an entity on its own behalf rather than as the representative of the collective of all members. Almost as if there was back-channel communication between AMPTP members (who view the union as the enemy) and the stars reps, preying on the stars guilt and good nature. Misstep for sure.
