Well, I just finished testing out every Android Mastodon app that I know about, and although most of them are better than the official app in some way, they're also each worse than the official app in some other way, so I guess I'm stuck with it for now 🫤

    Maaannnn I'd been doing great with the esophillic esophagitis, no food impactions for years, then the second I go on a trip, woops, food stuck in esophagus, spit black water on the table, make horrible noises attempting to breathe in bathroom, etc.

    Pretty sure it was just a bunch of bits it bad luck compounding, but it kinda resets my confidence in "ability to eat safely" so wheeee

    @glassbottommeg yeah it's not rad it's bogus :)

    The way I understood it was food allergies -> inflammation -> acid reflux -> scarring which causes the stricture which makes it hard to swallow.

    Although I've cut out the foods they said I'm allergic to and they've put me on a bunch of meds but it seems to be getting worse not better...

    @glassbottommeg well I've been gluten free for months and that didn't fix it

    I think all that's left on the list is milk, eggs and soy

    I just need it to not be "everything" 😁
