@Zergling_man yes and yes -- ideally we'd perform a [[veil of ignorance]] exercise at society level and set up a fund for people whose livelihood will be affected by AI before we actually know for sure who will be that -- so more basic income than universal basic income to begin with, but similar idea.

First of all: we 100% fit the trend and are hosted in [[Hetzner]]. So we are not contributing to provider diversity -- but then again, Hetzner has a good offering and they have worked very well for us so far, so I understand why they are prevalent.

This fall-off of activity makes sense for what is a relatively old instance in Fediverse terms, I think.

I took a look and I think it's cool your approach was to catch the posts in the timeline proper? I was thinking of first implementing 'auto-suspend' for user reports, piggybacking on user detection as we got it. essentially automate the process of accepting them if they matched criteria
