What's the optimum amount of free/unused RAM on a VPS server? As in, your average consumption should be no more than N% of your total memory (ex. 60%, 80%)?
@stevefenton you and @accudio give me the same exact answer: 60%. I am running pretty consistently at 75% right now. I run very minimal server processes, so Iโm not seeing much in the way of burst activity. Iโll try to look back over my historical data to see if I need to upgrade things or not.
Just hit delete on the last WP install I was running on my server. Excited to be free of this baggage, but also bittersweet since WP literally kick-started my dev career.
I want to get slots-like behavior out of a WC that doesnโt use Shadow DOM. Seems like it can only be done in Lit with some questionable hacks (Lit gets angry if I manipulate innerHTML of a sub component)
Markdown seems like the perfect place to use custom elements. It has dawned on me that this is a much cleaner, simpler approach than MDX, except...
My very first component needs a few multi-line attributes. Yet as I trying to embed these in markdown, the markdown parser canโt handle that without wrapping the whole element in a <p>. Gah.
@keithjgrant is this in the context of a static site generator? If so, would you be able to use a short code to prevent markdown from parsing things it shouldnโt?
Hallucinations are not the big problem with AI. Assumptions of accountability, authority, and transparency with knowledge transfer between you and your agents are the big issues.
@scott I dunno. A tool being wrong a majority of the time while also consuming 10x as much electricity as the more accurate alternatives seems like a pretty big fucking deal.
