@byteborg Use an alcohol based cleaner to remove every trace of oil and solvent. Unless the silicone you used was food service grade, it probably contains petroleum distillates that will attack some synthetic rubber.
If you can remove the case entirely you can attempt to re- vulcanize the styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR). A weak solution of acetic acid (vinegar) may help reharden
Im Übrigen bin ich der Meinung, dass Politiker:innen und andere Amts- und Mandatsträger:innen gesetzlich dazu verpflichtet werden sollten, mindestens die Hälfte ihrer Mobilität mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu verwirklichen.
