I finished at the end of May, but my last prayer cloth post brought so much stress because of abuse from , I decided I'm not going to post my finished prayer cloths to groups anymore.

Took 5 1/2 to 6 hours of #CrossQuilting, but it's finished! #PatrioticWithLadybug #PrayerCloth has #CrossStitch on the front panel and is #CrossQuilted to make the project double-sided.

@breadsmasher I love how love 2 attack my & the faith of others. aren't the ONLY answer 2 , but they DO help those with faith. The itself doesn't say 2 rely on them alone; it talks about Paul (a man of faith) & Luke (a doctor with faith) working together 2 heal the sick. tailors each person's healing 2 their level of faith. If you choose 2 only trust doctors, that's your choice. But I pity you for the disadvantage that puts you in.

@adamconover I am really glad you posted this conversation! My husband & I have experienced varying degrees of homelessness for several years. We've been primarily "sheltered homeless" (in a shelter) or "travelers" (living in a hotel/other temporary living space that we pay for). We've been blessed to only be street homeless for 1 night & most of the next day. Good thing is, "Housing First" is getting more attention! Yay! Bad thing: Not the resources for travelers as street/sheltered homeless.

Today I found out that both of my applications to test a pattern were accepted... after many times applying for things and not being accepted...

So I guess all my other WIP will be on hold and until June 20th I will be knitting both a pair of colourwork unicorn mittens and a cardigan... See images.

Doable, right? Maybe I should book a holiday from my two little kids and my work... haha.

Does anyone here have any tips for making cross stitching easier on hand joints?

I have very painful joints and expect to get formally diagnosed with arthritis tomorrow. I love cross stitching, but my god does it make my hands hurt. I also work in IT, so my hands are in use all day for my job. I want to be able to craft after work to relax, but my hands just hurt and cramp immediately when I try to work on a...

@KittenBiscuits @LaunchesKayaks I use my compression gloves all the time while stitching. They help reduce fatigue and swelling...and they make my hands look fancier while I'm working! 😉

Okay...so...TECHNICALLY this was finished while it was still MY Friday, so I'm posting it today. #PraiseHim #PrayerCloth is cross stitched on the front panel. Outlines that would normally be #Backstitch are #CrossQuilted to make the project double-sided. I should be able to finish the second copy tonight. After that, I'll be correcting errors and posting the proofed pattern to Ko-Fi. If anyone is interested, let me know and I'll tell you when free digital & paid printable versions are available.

Finally finished on the #CrossStitch portion of the two copies of #PraiseHim #PrayerCloth! WHOO HOO!!! Now the easy part-- #CrossQuilting! As you can see, I already started around the central circle on the Sun, so the backs aren't very impressive yet. When I'm finished, I'll be correcting the pattern, posting it to Ko-Fi (emailing an updated, CORRECTED copy to those with the unproofed version), and then on to much a much less complicated project! #ThankGod for #LightAtTheEndOfTheTunnel! 😄🥳🎉🥳🎉
