One more on the 2024 eclipse pile. The best I could get.

We were at 94% coverage here and it did get strangely dim and cooler.

The picture was taken with my old 2009 Canon Powershot through eclipse glasses.

Mom was recovering from surgery so we couldn't travel to the path of totality.

Well, apparently someone leaked this, so now Weber has lifted their embargo. Check out the new BIRD, the new reverse brewer from Weber, re-imagining the press pot.

And like all Weber products, it is a) precisely engineered and micro-precise, and b) expensive!

So, if I get it right ... it's a kind of "pulling" Aeropress, rather than a "pushing" one.

Aside from some obvious pressure profiling differences ... starting from the bottom prevents any initial drip-through.

To be honest, for, me, there isn't enough separating the idea of this brewer from what I can better afford.
