Anyone out there who has a localized app using String catalogs and has widgets? Our widgets aren’t translating to the set language and I have no idea if it’s a bug or something we’ve done wrong.

My device is set to English, Ambre is set to Swedish, but our widgets are French 😵‍💫

I figured this out thanks to some help by @harshil.

To begin with widgets don't conform to app language settings. And the reason the widgets were French instead of English was because I had forgot to localize all files in our English localization. The main app had no problems with this, but the widgets ignored English because of this and used my second preferred language French.

I'm having a crash in a TestFlight build but I can't reproduce it with a debug or release build run locally on my device connected or not to Xcode. It's crashing only with the TestFlight build 😞

This is what I see in the crash log in Xcode. It happens when I trigger a purchase in my View.

Any idea @mattiem ?

@alpennec @mattiem not sure if it’s the reason you’re crashing, but it looks like you’re setting isPurchasing from a background thread. If isPurchasing is a Published property it should only be updated from the main thread.

@alpennec @mattiem mark the functions as async, remove Task { } inside of them and prefix with @ MainActor, that will force the contents of those functions to run on the main thread.

@alpennec @mattiem yeah, I was assuming purchase package was already called from an async context. If not, I would create the task on the purchase package caller and have this function being async and main actor.

Made a first version of my iOS App Icon Template for Figma. Change your icon once and see it in all these contexts. You can also easily swap in your App Store screenshots to ensure it harmonizes with your icon.

The main reason I keep this separate from my App Store template is that App Store uses RGB color space for assets, but you want to see your icon if full P3 glory. There's also a simplicity to focusing on the icon without too much else going on.
