We're talking dungeons, outer space mages, time-traveling wizards, beach dating adventures, and taxidermied fox art. If you can think of it, this 14 year old open-source game likely has it!
Tales of Maj'Eyal on the steam deck works surprisingly well. Especially with the OldRPG workshop tileset mod giving it a very SNES Final Fantasy vibe.
Here we see the cursed human Anakin Skywalker standing victorious on the Daikara volcano's summit, after narrowly defeating Rantha the Worm and an army of elite ice giants.
