At a #pub I visited a lot in the 80s & 90s and maybe only two or three times since. I like what they've done with the place. Little hint of Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese in London, minus about four hundred years of history.
#fail#communication#pub
Off to #Liverpool for the first time in my life! Got some historic pubs on my list to visit and a walking tour booked in, but anyone have any must see suggestions while I'm there? Thanks one and all! #Lerpwl#pub#pubs#dayout
• devenez prof
• devenez soignant ou pompier
• devenez inspecteur du fisc ou du travail
When I lived in North London, I often drove past this pub and wondered what it was like - a small traditional pub in a residential street in N21. I popped in this afternoon. It's what I expected - a small, cosy, quiet local pub with a set of regulars in their favourite table. And, what I expected: unless it finds a buyer, it's to close soon. They're taking the Christmas decorations down today as I drink my pint. I hope they're not the last decorations that go up here. #travel#london#pub
I moved to Tasmania 14 months ago and I'm really happy here. We moved to a small town in the north of the island in the beautiful Tamar Valley. Our little town has everything you'd need, except a country pub.
Well that changes this Friday as a new pub opens in Beaconsfield, Tasmania 🙂
The cask ale menu in my local - Digger's. Outstanding prices. Also the manager has just announced that he now has 665 different malt whiskies for sale and having difficulty finding space for the other 35 he wants too add.
Great pub, I would say the best whisky bar in the capital. If you are in Edinburgh over The Festival you should pay a visit.
Lothian Buses 1, 2, 3, 4, 25, 33, 34, 35 and 44 all take you there 😀
