#Celtic#MythologyMonday: #Midir challenged High King Eochu Airem to a game of fidcheal, lost every game and had to complete forfeits. Finally, they agreed to play for a kiss from #Étaín, and this time, Midir won. As the two embraced, they were transformed into #swans, and so made their escape.

The MIDI input for my video mixer / synthesizer app works better than I would have dreamt of. The #midir library allowed for a clean integration into my existing project.
Now knobs, sliders and buttons can be bound to almost any value in the options panels.
And I fixed the tiling in the #kaleidoscope filter for p1 symmetry.
To add more symmetries, I need to be in the proper mood, then it can be a joy. Otherwise it is just pain.
#FairyTaleTuesday: The #fairy king #Midir fell in love with the beautiful #Étain. Unluckily, he was already married to the jealous #druid Fuamnach, who cast a spell on her rival. Étain immediately turned into a beautiful fly. In this form she flew about until she accidentally drowned in a glass of wine. Upon emptying it, a princess got pregnant. Her child was the reborn Étain, who grew up to be just as beautiful as in her earlier incarnation. Source: P.
