This morning, Logitech announced their new webcam that has a Micro Four Thirds lens mount (the Mevo Core). I was really excited about this until I saw the page on Amazon mention that it is rechargeable (without listing any other specific details about the battery).
It turns out that it has a sealed in battery that isn't removable/replaceable. So once the battery stops holding a charge after a couple of years, the entire device will become e-waste. So disappointing.
Maybe the best shot from yesterday. Later that night it got much darker, the magenta shifted to a red and a slight tint of greenish yellow could be seen. What a magnificent spectacle nature gave us here!
