While I was on my ride and almost at the end of Auto Row, a salmon cyclist going full throttle on an e-bike while towing a German shepherd in the back saw the #CargoQuad and said something like "That's cool!" as he passed by.
He was wearing a trucker cap with a US flag and in general did not look like the stereotype of who bikes. And the cargo quad appealed to him.
I found out later that the reason he rode salmon was because the cycle lane was non-existent on the other side at that point.
@carolski@glightly the #CargoPalooza rides and #KidicalMass tend to get good coverage of the 2-wheeled utility / passenger / family bike anyway, they definitely turn heads even where some other pedalpalooza rides of 30-some people on typical bikes might go by unnoticed.
Finally got the #superCargo and @ShawneMartinez's #BullittX in the same place at the same time to compare. Conclusion: without his rear rack extension, they're the same length. The BullittX carries more of that in the floor, with more vertical front and back angles. Random dog's butt for scale. #CargoBikes#CargoPalooza#eBikes#TwoLessCars
