I can't recommend as "survival"/camping food enough.

  1. Dry lean beef at ~45 C until it breaks.
  2. Blend into powder.
  3. Render same weight of tallow and mix it thoroughly with powdered beef.
  4. Norm it in any forms and sizes you like, let it cool. IIRC ~300g is about 2000kcal.
  5. Eat it as is or make "pemmican soup" with ingredients you like (or just salt & pepper).
