“El Calón” is an extraordinary site in the State of , . It is a one-of-a-kind pyramidal structure built by the Totorame people around 750 CE. in the middle of marshes, lagoons and bogs, using approximately 300 million seashells and conchs (not a single stone in sight). The “ ” resembles nowadays a coastal hill covered with vegetation and is in an inaccesible location.
