MuseumShuffle, to accessibility

The pull request I made for a minor accessibility issue with RevenueCat paywalls got officially merged into their code. 😎

I just made my first pull request to the @revenuecat code tree. 😳

That's something I didn't realize you could do until yesterday when @thillsman told me.

I spotted a (small) accessibility issue yesterday when I was testing my new RevenueCat paywall with VoiceOver.

After a busy week preparing the major 2.0 release of @TranslateKit, I can finally fully focus on my alternative! 🎯

First two tasks are completed:
– Create Mastodon account (follow @FreemiumKit now!)
– Finalize app icon (including VisionOS!)

What do you think? 👇

So RevenueCat or the StoreKit 2 API? I’ve been hearing tons of great things about RevenueCat. Assuming I go with it, any tips on getting started?

Am I right in thinking that if using I have to somehow create and sync a unique user id across a user's devices to make sure they have access to their purchases on each of their devices? Or does RevenueCat somehow magically handle this for me?

(I implemented the former previously, just checking if I'm overcomplicating things.)

I completely forgot that a free baseball cap was headed my way. Thank you for these awesome goodies @revenuecat !

A sticker of a cat leaning on a brick wall that says revenue cat. Below it is a multicolored coin with the initials RC.

Here's a question about , and unique user IDs for support request. This has to be a solved problem but I can't seem to find an answer.

I saw this as an example in the RevenueCat newsletter. The dev said with the change on the right he had much better numbers.
The point is to highlight the „gift“ you have for the user.
Is this still fair or is it scammy? I’m not sure yet. Ok it says that then it costs etc but still. Or maybe I’m overthinking it 🤔

Just a normal company call where we pranked the staff team by wearing suits and using the same office background in Zoom😛

RevenueCat t-shirt with „no revenue“-indie-developer and „eating all my revenue“-dog 😅

(They sent this for free to their users. The shirt, not the dog!)
