My films have, so far, been collaborations with new talent. Everyone brings their skills without pay. I pay expenses, keep the production organised, and guarantee high quality films we're proud of.

When putting out casting or crew calls there's a bias against "free work" that I run into. There are always angry people. I get it, I don't want to be predatory, but I can't pay everyone out of pocket.

What's right?

A fascinating bit of history about the creation of the Steadicam and its use on the movie, ROCKY (1976).

Soo...

... I was watching and I noticed that the was beautiful.

Seriously.

Any frame you pause looks like an intricately composed and lit still. The mix of ambient, reflected, hair and edge lighting is soooo well done. And then there are the scenes where lowlight is balanced against club lasers, distant car lights and street lighting.

, everyone. Just a brilliant .
