They are adorable! Skinks? With that blue tail they must be.

I wish we had more reptiles here. I’ve only seen the occasional garter snake by the river, and we apparently have rattlesnakes but thankfully I haven’t encountered one.

Yeah the first two look like western skinks. The last one looks like a southern alligator lizard

Edit: Assuming the weed on the right is burclover, the eggs do look like they’d be about the right size. (5-7mm?)

Those are definitely feline eggs. I’ve got 3 degrees in zoology and definitely know cat eggs when I see them.

No real way to get a sense of scale from the picture - how big are they?

Yea sorry, they looked like 1-2cm. I went back and the cave nest is covered up now. I think to protect the eggs.
