Aielman15, in Stronghold Castle Jam

Stronghold’s music is sooo good. It ranges from relaxing medieval tunes to suspenseful chorus during siege time.

For those interested, there’s an interview to Robert Euvino, composer of the game’s soundtrack, floating on the internet.

taiyang, in VVVVVV - Pushing Onwards - [Magnus "SoulEye" Pålsson]

The music in that was bangin, with a surprise number of cover albums. That said, I’m now reminded the dev Terry Cavanagh went on to make Dicey Dungeons (which also has bangers but dif composer I think).

Also fun fact, the hardest puzzles are credited to fucking Bennett Foddy, of Getting Over It fame. It all makes sense in retrospect now.

Sylvartas,

Dicey dungeon’s composer is Chipzel. She also made the absolute banger that is Super Hexagon’s ost

I did always really like the earworm music in the PMD series. Super fun games, even though I stopped liking the art as soon as they left the sprites behind

simple, in Animal Well - Flames - [Billy Basso]

I loved this game. The soundtrack and visuals added so much to the atmosphere.

I played the hell out of DD as a kid. I cannot recall the soundtrack, however the linked especially doesn’t sound familiar

cdf12345,

Defo the track used in the big open arena.

Okami is such a beautiful game.

ytsedude, in Galerians: Ash - Parano

Man, I haven’t thought about this series in so long! I loved the trailer music for the first game. It came on a demo disc that the PlayStation magazine included every now and then. Super cool!

The music and the game are underrated. I’ve played its SNES version, it’s a really good adventure; being able to mix-and-match your critter’s parts gives it a fair bit of depth, as you need to develop viable strategies. I wish that it had a spiritual successor, in the same “spirit” of the older game, but better (like Thrive is becoming for Spore).

I’m almost sure that this song is from Gaia is talking with the MC. It’s soothing; and frankly damn great.

Varyk, in Plok (SNES) - Boss Theme (Ultra HD Remastered) - [Tim and Geoff Follin, Arr: Richard Craig]

Awesome share

Varyk, in Super Mario Bros. 3 OST Remastered with 80s synths and samplers - [Aqua MIDI]

This sounds so cool, I want to replay the game with this music
