@CWSmith haha, right? And if that person would speak for Threads as a whole, they'd need to look in the mirror....thankfully theres a few hundred million there and this one asshat doesn't nearly reflect everyones opinions.
You know how Facebook Community Guidelines violations seem to pop up for any damn thing on there?
My rules on my instances aren't necessarily Meta's, so my are my Threads followers at risk of seeing something like "This post was blocked because it goes against our community standards?"
@CWSmith probably, yes. They're just like a normal instance so they can have their own rules and block any account/post that doesn't abide by them.🤷♂️
@CWSmith Yeah, it might take some time because I would think the "jobs" would be backed up because of the sheer amount of people turning it on at once.🤷♂️
I wonder how far this will extend into Meta if this is successful. We are restricting ourselves to talking about Threads because that's what is being used, but what would we see if this was implemented across their entire ecosystem.
@CWSmith@cwsmith1701 well, the only other parts that work right now is you'll be able to see your posts and if you like it, your threads account will see that a Fediverse user has liked it.
