Yeah, surgery is the decider for sure. I suffered a similar injury some years back and had to have a titanium rod inserted. I move about fine now, as long as the weather isn’t shitty. But I was out of commission for four months while I healed and did my physical therapy.
I also have this cool/kinda gross lump of scar tissue on my shin and I can make it wiggle by tensing my calf muscle. If any of you ever meet me in person, you should totally ask to see it.
