#Exeter#Pride today, and one of the many things I love about Pride (and indeed Halloween) is how it makes the quotidian just a little bit creatively weird. Just saw three extremely fabulous drag queens, all corsets and sparkles with hair as tall as their heels doing some extremely mundane shopping in Boots.
This is why Pride is so important isn't it, a critical mass of safe people people in one place at the same time so we outnumber those who might threaten people for being themselves. I wish those three could buy hand sanitiser dressed like that every day if they wanted to (though I'd imagine going about your everyday errands like that would be murder on the ankles)
