I’d rather get a new Quake game, particularly one following the story from the first game. But if we get another Doom, I’d like something different at least. The formula from nu-Doom and Eternal doesn’t need another go.
And now I’m expecting Microsoft to shut down id regardless of how well the game does. Ugh, I hate that it’s where my mind goes at announcements like this.
We know that he’s personally a massive fan of the series, but I wouldn’t want him to do it out of fandom, he deserves the money and recognition more than the series deserves his music
