I have learnt this lesson too. You can only help yourself and believe in your intelligence and inner strength.
Don't give up, because that would definitely take away any chance of a better life.
As well as trial and error self-medication, there is always the chance that there are drugs in the pipeline that will come onto the market in time.

@tobi82 @halcionandon @mecfs @chronicpain @chronicillness @endometriosis @medmastodon @longcovid My doctor always says that alas she can’t help me but last time she told me there are so many studies around CFS/ME that she thinks there might be some Kind of medication in a few years. So far consequent pacing helps me most prevemting crashes most of the time. 🫶

I have no GP though. It’s not about a cure which would be great but nobody wants to even see me.

@halcionandon @tobi82 @mecfs @chronicpain @chronicillness @endometriosis @medmastodon @longcovid I am so sorry, I understand you are in Australia? So I don‘t really know how it works there. In Germany it is often easier because you can Switch from one doctor to the other usually without problems. Half of them, maybe more, would put you in the depression or whatever mental problem drawer but there are others as well.
