Has anyone tried as an alternative Mastodon web-based UI?

I've been using it for the past couple of days and I definitely find it much easier to read posts.

For those not familiar, when you go to https://phanpy.social, you just specify your Mastodon server (like hear-me.social) when you set up the account and then log in using the same Mastodon credentials. You now have access to your account, but have a different UI is all.

There are, of course, some improvements I'd like to see, but I am very much enjoying it.

@admin I've tried it and really like it but there are a couple of things that I'm waiting for before completely replacing the default mastodon multi-column layout.

Each post in the feed needs to have the quick actions icons at the bottom. I prefer to have an immediate icon to click to retweet/like/bookmark etc any given entry. Also, the columns should be resizeable, and there should be a "profile" multicolumn option so that you can pin your own profile feed as a column (not just your home/following feed).

Once those are incorporated I'll definitely switch to using it. It looks amazing so far.

jcrabapple,

@admin yeah I quite like using it on my desktop and laptop. It's pretty good on mobile too but lacks notifications.
