@hamoid @creativecoding @vvvv @toplap @ojack I hate MeetUp so much, they are already a full enshitification case, they cut off organizers from having community contacts to lock people in. They use dark patterns. If you don't pay and don't delete your group they offer group control to anyone who might want to pay. It was a completely evil company and I can't see how this acquisition would improve anything. I fully recommend moving out ASAP.

Evernote: Acquired by Bending Spoons in January 2023, they fired everyone in July, in December they reduced its free plan drastically (to a maximum of 50 editable notes) without a warning or transition period.
