@cliffwade My "project" for the day is to try to get my SDR radio working in GQRX on Linux. Hopefully won't be too hard to get running.

@cliffwade The hardest part was getting it installed as it wasn’t in the package manager of the distribution I’m using. But once I got it installed, it surprisingly just worked (no futzing with drivers or config files needed). Was able to listen to FM radio stations, NOAA weather radio, air traffic control for the nearby airport, and some local ham activity.

@cliffwade today I surprised my 3yo and took him to see monster trucks! We had a blast.

Tonight I'm going to kick back and play some video games (Tekken 8 and Yakuza: Infinite Wealth)

@exallium Oh wow! I bet that was absolutely amazing!

I miss the Monster Trucks. When I lived in Houston, I lived less than a mile from Grave Digger and a big majority of the other trucks were from around the area as well.

@cliffwade Good morning. Watching F1 Italy race now. After I need to deal with the garage battery that is beeping every 20 seconds 🤦‍♂️

Normally I only hear it when we lose power but I guess it really is dead now.

I need to get up in the attic today and get some stuff down to prepare for our vacation a week from this Thursday.

@jnv Oh, yeah, that one. I assume mine has one too but we've been here for 28 months and I haven't heard a beep yet. Guess it's still alive and kicking.
