and Biden yanked all of Trump's pandemic mitigation efforts & subsidies
and kicked millions off healthcare
And millions are dead
so, it's been a straight up genocide of us disabled here and I've been in isolation for four years because of it, without the ability to work and with very minimal familial support
This is extremely common for every COVID-safe person I know and many of them also lack familial support due to poverty, estrangement, or deaths
It's almost impossible to get pain management/relief due to the Sacklers' avaricious opioid crisis that is still killing thousands
@halcionandon@chronicillness@chronicpain@mecfs If the attitudes of abled randos on social media are any indication (and I think they are), I think people here in the US feel much more comfortable openly not giving a shit about disabled and chronically ill people.
As for people in my life, those who were clueless before covid are mostly still clueless. The few who actually respected me still do. Not a huge change there. It's just that now the clueless people are harder to deal with.
