Could be the reason that they only assess what can be helped to be eased via learning skills/therapy ?
One can learn skills to cope with necessary social interaction and how to chanel behaviors that might harm the individual, but sensory overload is something that cannot be helped other than via avoidance (headphones, gloves, glasses)
