A day ahead of the equinox & spring has truly sprung in our garden this lunchtime 🌿
Sunny, if not particularly warm, but enough to tempt one of last year’s peacock #butterflies (Aglais io) out of hibernation ahead of egg laying.
There was a yellow one fluttering around too, probably a brimstone (Gonepteryx rhamni)🦋
