I rebuilt everything they destroyed real quick with switching to creative mode but I don't remember what exactly was stored in our storage chests so guess we’ll have to find all that again :drgn_cry:
@SebinNyshkim if it's modded, or even if it's not because I believe this one still works server side only, there is a mod or two that I use as part of my hosting service that will record literally every block and entity change in your entire world, that can individually be inspected and rolled back.
This is also why I don't host things on default ports, I use an SRV record to redirect the client over to the correct IP and non-standard port, meaning it won't immediately show up on a port scan if you're only looking for common, well-known ports
@SebinNyshkim and, if you'll permit the cynicism, griefers will exist in literally any multiplayer game that gives them the capability of doing so. That seems to be just an inescapable, constant fact of humanity.
@tek_dmn Back when I used MineOS to host servers, it came with hourly rsync backups but I've also seen mods to offer that kind of functionality so I’ll probably also start looking into that
@tek_dmn I think that's the one I saw mentioned here and there. But my server is a little potato on my desk with not the biggest SSD in it. So I'd prefer something that can make incremental backups instead of zips. I’m probably gonna look into something like this: https://modrinth.com/mod/fastback
