Let's continue with 6518 Baja Buggy, 33 pieces, 1996. Simple but cute! ❤️
PS: I wanted to post chronologically but I miss some pieces. I know I have them but they may be in other cases so I will build them later. Next posts may not be in the right order. Plus some sets are a lot bigger, will require more time to build and I kind of like that: taking more than one day and taking my time to build them! 😊
First of the Technic category, my favorite category I think. Not my first set in this category, but as mentioned earlier, some pieces are missing and I have to build the other sets to pick or find the parts I need.
For this round it's the 42036 Street Motorcycle (model A, which is more sport than street ^^), 375 pieces, 2015.
This one has been given to me. This is my least favorite one due to how the instructions are made. Not logical, hard to follow, defenitely not at Lego's standard. Some older sets I own have better instructions. Maybe it's during a change on how the instructions where designed.
Any way this is the 8285 Tow Truck model B, 1879 pieces, 2006. This is an exception as I often prefer the A models when there are two models available. One piece is missing, can you spot it? 😊 (I found it later)
One vacation day and a new #Lego set is built: 8458 Silver Champion. First past 2000 I own, not my first Technic (still miss a 5 technic axis for this one 😢 ) but my first big set: 1433 pieces. 3 small not essential parts missing.
I didn't notice at the time but there are some interesting build techniques. 😍
Sill lying (kind of ^^) about my Lego productivity. Build Friday afternoon after work because I had time.
75126 First Order Snowspeeder from 2016 and 30371 Knight's Cycle polybag from Nexo Knights collection which I don't really know. Both from 2016. Because I ordered too much bricks. 😅 #Lego
Few days later, another big set I like. With a pump and a lot of pneumatic functions. The only down side is that it requires batteries to make it works properly.
42043 Mercedes-Benz Arcos 3245 2015, 2793 pices.
Not the set I expected but the original one has a crucial gear missing... I hope to find it once I built the other one I have.
Today, as a late Christmas gift, is the 42105 Ducati Panigale V4! 646 parts. The only thing I don't like is the stand as it bends the rear wheel and don't keep the bike straigt... But I found this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uR-1OiUa-Ho and have to found the parts. 🙂
Note: I got the set when it was released. Christmas is only a reason to post. 😛
A lot of frustration these past days. I hoped to find one of the missing part by rebuilding the 8285 in its A model but unfortunately I still miss some parts and a crucial gear for my #porsche GT3 RS... I will have to buy the missing parts...
So here is the 8285 Tow Truck in its A form. Which I prefer, but still a PITA to build!
Continuing with a great set: 21309 NASA Apollo Saturn V. 1 meter long, 1969 pices (yep, that was intended) released in 2017, this is the original Idea version and not the second edition. 🙂
After approximately 9h of work (but is it?) I finished the 31203 World Map from 2021 with 11 695 pieces. Some of the 256 studs per plate were not really fun to build. 🙃
But the final result is awesome! Can't wait to hang it on the wall 😀
I arranged it with the Europe and Africa in the center because... France. 🙂
The first Lego Technic I wanted to show you. But as some parts were missing, I had to build the other ones. It still miss a piece Cross Axle 5M, replaceable by a 4M.
It's my first one, 8279 4WD X-Tracker from 1999, 449 parts according to rebrickable. Bricklink doesn't have the count and Lego only have the manual.
Motorized and this is why I don't like motors in Lego: you have to replace the batteries often and can't use it when batteries are low. 1/2
The representation of the motor is ejectable from the rear when the truck pass the line. Rubber bands allows this ejection. I didn't place them as they tend to dry and become unusable. 2/2
Almost forgot to complete the list today. Last one before continuing the #porsche. I ordered the part, hopefully this will the only one missing.
For now, here are my beautiful 10309 Succulents, from 2022, 771 pieces. Which doesn't require a lot of water, even if they were real. 🙂
Nice to build, interesting parts usage as mentioned in different reviews.
A bit sad that all the plants are not clearly distinguishable when assembled together, I think.
The long awaited Lego 42056: Porsche GT 3 RS! 2704 pieces, from 2016. One of my biggest set and preferred ones, even if we can't see the engine very well or it's a bit too orange for me.
Today, two small sets.
First is from Architecture, from 2017: 21034 London, 468 parts.
Second is from Icons, from 2023: 10314 Dried Flower Centerpiece, 812 pieces.
New week, new set : 21321 International Space Station from Idea collection, 864 pieces from 2020. With its small shuttle. The set is lager than I thought. The only regret I have is that it's hard to see the back part when exposed on a shelf...
Long time without update. I made some room for the 42130 BMW M 1000 RR of 2022 with 1920 pieces. What a piece of engineering! I don't know if I missed something on the gearbox but the highest gear make the the chain and cogs slips or something. We don't see the gearbox or the pistons working but I didn't get this model for that. 🙂
There is a sh*t load of stickers which don't bother me but there are really a lot.
Well... Another long time between two posts. 😊
This time: Bird of Paradise, 10289 from 2021 wit 1173 pieces. I immediately loved it when I saw it the first time! So much that I ordered it two times without noticing it. 😅
Anyway, a very niece flower to expose. 🙂
Continuing the collection with this small Ideas Set: 21340 Tales of the Space Age.
Cute little space post cards which can complete some space sets like the 21309 Apollo Saturn V 🙂
Continuing the long series with two flower bouquets: 10313 Wildflower Bouquet (939 pieces) and 10280 Flower bouquet (756 parts). Really shines on a shelf. 🙂
