I'll be honest, after years of using #Kotlin working with #Dart and #Flutter in the year 2023 feels reminiscent of how it was using Java 7 for Android development more than a decade ago.

@hth a pain? :)

@gryzor There are aspects of both the language and framework that can at times feel good to use.

The way that the asynchronous model of Dart is implemented is very simple to use, and cross platform development is a breeze in Flutter.

But everything else is just blown out of the water by the second mover advantage that #Compose has, in addition to having been built on top a much more powerful language such as #Kotlin.

Not to mention the robust ecosystem of tooling available in JVM land.
