@TheMetalDog We used to watch Praise the Lord for an occasional laugh. During ratings time they would do an entire show about "Satanic music". AKA heavy metal and punk. They would play the music backwards to show "subliminal messages" and show "offensive album covers". Ozzy always got mentioned. In later years they included hip-hop. It always involved "Christian music" aka bad country. And lots of prayers.
@TheMetalDog My idiot stepfather watched Praise the Lord on a regular basis. He destroyed my Sex Pistols album. My Ramones albums. My Rolling Stones albums. My Parliament and Bootsy Collins albums. Even my Stevie Wonder albums got trashed. He said that music was "the devil's music". But he loved B.B. King,Bobby Blue Bland and Z.Z. Hill: blues records that talked about cheating and drinking.
