Watching the #Halo season 2 finale. I nearly screamed when the Flood liet motif played. OMG, finally this show uses the themes correctly!
The infection forms are SO MENACING, they nailed it.
This episode is fantastic, finally something remotely approaching what Halo actually is. Why did it take two seasons to get here? There's a LOT that I think were unnecessary changes (why don't the spartans have shields?), but mostly this has been pretty solid.
I am so torn on the voice they gave "The Monitor". On the one hand, Harry Lloyd is delightfully mysterious. On the other hand, he sounds way too sane. I'm guessing this isn't 343 Guilty Spark.
I wonder if it might be 007 Contrite Witness, which would make this Halo Installation 02. It would be clever of them to put the show on a ring that's never been seen before.
