@majorlinux Translation: "We failed to make a digital gaming platform like Steam so we're running out of business now."

I love my physical copies (especially for collector's editions)... but GameStop needs to worry about how horribly they treat their employees and also, how to evolve their business. CDs won't be around forever.

@mikey I was discussing this with @olenglishD on Discord.

While you're right when it comes to the workers, if console manufacturers would distribute games on reusable media like the expansion cards or NVMe, it could keep GameStop around.

Of course, that's the side effect of my main goal of making sure people with shit internet connections can get access to games on faster storage mediums.

@mikey Having just come from my parents' house this weekend and talking with their neighbors, they're all struggling in that rural neighborhood.

Their choices are DSL and satellite.
