Flight Simulation keeps constantly evolving

I just wanted to share the nice feeling that our, at some point, maybe too-niche hobby seemed, well... too niche, it seems to keep gaining momentum in a weekly basis.

New installments of the established flight simulators, new gamification software (a.k.a. 'career mode' add-ons), while the old ones keep up (FSEconomy?), software to support virtual airlines, control networks, etc...

I started my simulation journey as a kid around 1984. To date, I have maybe just twice in my life met with two or three humans (that I can see and touch, not just virtual people on the internet, if you know what I mean) that shared my hobby. Yep, at some point I really thought there would always be some kind of flight simulator, but I never ever really thought that cutting edge technology would be used to create flight simulators, and that such a wide audience would be attracted to it.
