First Post: Welcome to m/cambridge
Hi fellow Cantabrigians.
I'm going to be honest up front. I don't know how to run a community, and I'm not particularly interested in running a community. I do however like having a space for discussing stuff that's going on here and around Cambridge, and I wanted that space to be called m/cambridge and not m/cambridgeuk or whatever, because I'm fussy like that. So I created this magazine in order to make sure that we can have that space, just the way we like it.
I hope that it takes off at some point, and I'd be grateful to anyone with better social skills than I have for their help in building a good, kind community space for discussion, collaboration, whatever.
In the meantime, I will repeat the content of my last post on r/cambridge, thanks to whoever is posting the 'you are loved' tags around Addenbrokes, because my daughters say that the reminder is really helping them remember what matters when they see them every day.
