I saw #Dethklok and #BabyMetal Live last Thursday. Dethklok is already one of my favorite #bands so I expected to love them, but now I am literally obsessed with BabyMetal. At first I thought they were just a novelty, but the juxtaposition of cute #Jpop vocals and every sub genre of #metal you can think of is lighting up all the pleasure centers of my brain. #SuMetal's vocals are incredible and give me a similar emotional reaction to the #NierAutomata soundtrack.
I always send gimme chocolate to share a taste of their style. Just cause there's more singing from the girls, and cause it's a great showcase of the juxtaposition of J-pop and heavy metal.
@severinggecko amazing show. Highly recommend. Brendon Small is an amazing musician, Gene Hogland is a monster on drums, and the cartoon videos they play in screen are brutal and hilarious.
