Alaska’s Cold Snap 2024 is done. In some areas the past two weeks featured the coldest sustained weather in 15 years. At others, a day or two of intense cold was more prominent. While quite cold for the 21st century, this event doesn’t even rate an asterisk compared to 20th century cold snaps.
