After the Unity announcement, we (well, esp @ratking) are looking for alternative engines to be less dependent from #Unity anymore.
Doing an 11 hour #Godot 2D #game#tutorial now!
So far: Love it. Sure, I miss a lot of comfort from Unity, and it's rather restrictive - or full of pre-sets?
Anyway, a great engine for beginners to get into game making and coding.
How cool it will be to make a full game...well, that's for another time. Also: Didn't try 3D yet.
