I'm feeling cheated over here, I’ve been a week on HRT and my boobs are nowhere to be seen... 😁
In all seriousness, I am curious: what was the first effect you girls felt from HRT, physical or mental, and how long did it take for you to feel it? And what was something that happened early on that surprised you, some effect that you weren't expecting or prepared for?
@portugeek Two weeks to the day after I began HRT, my boobs started hurting. And they haven't stopped since. Of course, I wish they were bigger after almost 11 months, but clearly something is still going on.
There were other early changes, some within days. My sensitivity to cold increased significantly. My sense of smell was heightened and my own body odor lessened. My skin became softer but easier to bruise.
@lisamelton 2 weeks? That is super early. I don't know quite what to expect in terms of size and growth because I still have significant moobs despite a lot of weight loss; I wonder if the new fat will accumulate on the existing, so I have a sort of head start, or if it will replace it entirely.
The smell stuff, temperature sensitivity and skin softness are mentioned so often, seems to happen to everyone, as do the feelings. If I start crying while watching F1 testing, I know what to blame. 😂
@portugeek Breast size and growth vary wildly. Even over time. And they don't stop growing after the first year of HRT. Part of it has to do with genetics. Part of it is... freakin' random?
Remember, you're a 13-year-old girl now. You're going through puberty. Most girls don't see significant boobage until they're at least 15. Time works the same way for us.
And even if you're blessed with boobs like Jessica was, you may still want to get breast augmentation like she did.
