floppy, 6 months ago #StackOverflow does not allow closing the cookie banner due to externally loaded (and commonly blocked) Javascript. Workaround for #Firefox and #Chrome until somebody suggests a suitable browser extension: Ctrl+Shift+C to open the browser's #DeveloperTools and enter element selection mode. Click on the black part of the cookie banner (to select all of it and not just a part). With the tree view of HTML elements focused, press delete on the keyboard to remove the cookie banner.
