@davidaugust People sense details they can't quite see, and conversely if the details are shallow, things will seem off somehow.

@davidaugust I wrote about the summer of 1721 in Germany and checked the weather records to make certain that it was indeed a summer with a good mix of sun and rain. XD

I did check the earth phase on the moon when I wrote a one-off soul travel short story that takes place in part on the moon. The date is an important element in the story..

Will anyone else ever check the weather to be sure it was, in fact, nice? No.

Weather/Earth phase? Same difference. 😋​
