Could have done without this. Not that I rate Dykes all that highly, but we’re already thin on forwards. Someone wrap Shankland up in bubble wrap!
How are we this week folks?
After the Hay festival dropped Baillie Gifford, this had an inevitable conclusion. But I didn’t expect it this year....
Feel slightly bad for the SGP, but they aren’t putting many candidates forward, Patrick has been MIA since the incident, and not putting Lorna up is a saving grace. But seeing ACH, who recently attended online hate speech training, and Anas, I don’t pay the living wage to my staff but do lie about it, against Swinney is...
Not often I post justice posts, but wow, eligible for release after 5 years after planning a murder is pretty heinous. The whole affair is tragic though: murder, suicide, pregnancy, extortion.
Dross in a far from safe seat, so if he’s annihilated, can we just get indy now?...
18 month consulatation is crazy. Bring on the tourist tax! End the AirBnBs
Hullo peoples, how’s life treatin ye’s?
In yet another who cares about Scotland action from the Tories: when the big getaway starts we’re holding an election. Meaning polling staff will be harder to round up, votes will be down, and even counts will be short handed. Postal vote applications to be through the roof....
Hey! Me and my friend will be hiking for the first time in Scotland. We plan to sleep in a tent, and we are looking to spend 5-7 days hiking. Any points that we should definitely put on our path? Thanks!
This one would be more funny if Scotland’s arts weren’t already on their knees. Summerhall in Edinburgh in real trouble, heads to roll here imo, a staggering lack of judgement
Taken a subtitle as the title, as it’s better. The National pointing out that British and Scottish has gone significantly backwards, and entrenchment continues. And the minority ethnic group percentages have risen too. 'Mon in tae Scotland!
Great to see for the island group, could be fun to go witness a rocket launch
Our first moves by the latest economy secretary focussing on start ups, a great decision imo. I’d argue scale-ups needing more work personally, but everything helps!...
Up early the day, oot ae work early fer me. Wha’s uptae anyhin?
This is a vote winner around ex-nuclear sites, the SNP have it wrong imo. Nuclear may not be the best long term solution, but we have smashed 1.5C - we need to do more today.
Cowards, this is why people say local politicians are useless. Why table it to then delay it?
Great to see a small part protected and restored. It’s ethereal when you stumble onto a glen that hasn’t been deer/sheep eaten
Anyone else seeing the aurora?? First time I’ve seen it and its amazing!!!
Sorry fae the delay @Olap, here are the bluebells as promised!
Howdy partners, how are we this week? Anyone sunburnt?
19C east coast, met office sayin mibbe 21! Shorts oan, taps aff, and guns oot over twenty. Hae a luvly day folks!
Long overdue. Edited the frankly ridiculous title away from the clickbait crap as this is some big business news in Scotland that deserves some gravitas, not hyperbole
Farmed Salmon is shite stuff, nowhere near on par with Scotch Beef, Lamb, or Pork. No way should they be allowed to associate with that. Defra are based next to Whitehall however, so we’ve little hope of a sensible decision here
