A manual way to store the PIN and unlock the keychain is to do: $ cargo install openpgp-card-state $ security unlock-keychain login.keychain $ ~/.cargo/bin/openpgp-card-state put 0000:01234567 123456 After this, unlocking operations for ssh access work if the agent is running in GUI mode.
