@taylorlorenz What is misinformation? Did anyone try posting the evidence that Government of #Ukraine tweeted greetings on Bandera's birthday: the request from Poland to remove it was sure cleaned off of #Mastodon with record hast. Oh you can't find things of #Mastodon well someone does, really quickly, and removes things, like #BDS for example, though you probably don't know what it means, just like all the censors except for their boss.

@taylorlorenz A tweep on twitter that posted that article and was swarmed by Blue Checks doing everything from defending their consequence free 'free speech' to calling the BBC and the journalist who tweeted lots of colourful names. It hit its target on the nose. Elon is attempting to shepard opinion toward his pen. Zucks new Threads will be worse, I'd bet.
@taylorlorenz The issue not strictly twitter related. There are dozens of fake/shadow accounts on various platforms held by both officials as well as paid international shills of hostile foreign governments who are being directly or indirectly compensated by organizations such as the chinese government and Putin's regime.
Some of them have made appearances on live Russian & Chinese government broadcasts..
Elon took over twitter and stopped tagging them as such, no honesty there at all.
