48 cores, 192 GB RAM. My initial expectation was "I can do fast 3d rendering and video production!" but it turned into "Oh I can automate win32, win64, and Linux tests and builds for the games without paying Github $1000/mo!"
...and still have enough resources that I never notice it.
@grue@eniko My desk is built around multiple devices. My monitors have a ton of inputs and can split, so I have my personal tower, my work tower, my work mac, and a hub for consoles and dev kits all hooked into the monitors and a four out USB switcher.
Means I can easily switch between devices, or run multiple simultaneously depending on workflow. For example, letting my work tower build Unreal while profiling on the laptop, or running consoles or dev-kits on the bottom monitor with a streaming setup or analysis program on the top.
@eniko@grue for working away from my desk, I have an iPad pro I use as a second monitor (or just to run chat/e-mail apps with the unified mouse thing); but my mac is pretty limited for my workflows since a lot of the tools I need only run on windows.
@esdin pictures a bit old and I swapped keyboards and have a second stream deck but this is my workstation and stream setup for work and play. I just didn’t feel like getting out of bed lol
