I love love love the fact that my regional healthcare facility uses MyChart. Because even if my mom doesn't go there and can't access it, I can, and I can put the reminders in my iThing or Android calendars, and/or send her the invites, or just remind her when/if the deskperson tells her the wrong time when they enter the appointment. No, actually they put it in for $ThisTime, not $thatOne. My local uses something else that's a little less niftilicious and I have to rely on text messages to do the job for me.

philliesfan4,

@Meepercat my chart rocks.

@philliesfan4 Omfg yes it does. I wish all the places around here used it, it would be so much less asspainery on my end with this thingy in my ear! That's why I'm trying to handle the ear monster issues all at one facility, or at that facility's satelite centers because my locals could fuck up... well... sigh anything and everything?

munchkinbear,

@Meepercat @philliesfan4 my chart is god, regardless of what people might say.

technolass,

@munchkinbear @Meepercat That's one thing I really miss up here in Canada. In 2024, we still have no option for viewing our own medical charts online. I really appreciated the ability to view test results, doctor comments, and other things from home.

@technolass @munchkinbear @Meepercat life labs has it but I think that system is not accessible cause AODA and similar can't be enforced. they just want to talk nice!
