Other people who live in humid climes and buy garlic powder in the large containers: how do you keep it from becoming a giant unusable mass. This is my second container since I moved here, I thought since the first was powder rather than granulated that was the problem, but the granulated does it too.

(Don't @ me about using garlic powder, it's one of the secrets to a great egg & cheese sandwich and I eat a lot of those, ok?)

@skinnylatte I think the problem is the container it comes in isn't air tight once you get a little on the lid from shaking it? But putting it in a new container might be an option...

@SRLevine try several ziploc bags but in really squeeze the air out and pack it tight, and take out a bag at a time

@skinnylatte I wonder if I did that if it would be fine in the cabinet? Freezer space is at a real premium with the ice cream freezer bowl needing to be stored in there.

@SRLevine Dessicant packets? Rice that is bigger than the powder and thus won't get shaken thru the holes?
